Russian mail order brides, real or fake?

A friend of mine joined one of those sites that is supposed to hook you up with a Russian single women looking for marriage. He writes back and forth to her and they are planing to meet soon. I wonder if it is a scam or will they get to meet. Anyone know anything on this subject, and Russian women out there care to respond.??

So my purchase and I were talking and he said he wants to have a bachelor party. As Any other girl, my first response was NO, NO WAY .. knowing that, obviously, make your way to the strip club. To me, he goes to a club striptease for "pleasure" of another woman doen't make sense. If he is sooo in love and wants to marry, then why even Do you want to go to a strip club?
